Cook Time 12 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1-2 apples, cored and sliced into thin wedges
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 scoop @macr0mike caramelised apple crumble protein
  • 1/2 cup nut milk of choice
  • 1 egg, whisked
  • Ground cinnamon, for sprinkling

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the apples: core and slice the apples into circles, then cut in half to form wedges.
  3. Mix the filling: in a small bowl, combine the protein powder with nut milk to create a creamy, smooth mixture.
  4. Assemble: cut the puff pastry into 2 cm strips. Brush one side of each apple wedge with the protein mixture, then wrap a pastry strip around each wedge.
  5. Finish: brush each pastry-wrapped apple with the whisked egg and sprinkle generously with cinnamon.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
  7. Serve and Enjoy Warm
