Method
- Preheat your oven to 200°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Prepare the apples: core and slice the apples into circles, then cut in half to form wedges.
- Mix the filling: in a small bowl, combine the protein powder with nut milk to create a creamy, smooth mixture.
- Assemble: cut the puff pastry into 2 cm strips. Brush one side of each apple wedge with the protein mixture, then wrap a pastry strip around each wedge.
- Finish: brush each pastry-wrapped apple with the whisked egg and sprinkle generously with cinnamon.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
