Granola

Create your own, wholesome, nourishing granola; so satisfying, gluten free, refined sugar free, dairy free and full of all the good stuff.

Feel free to use whichever ingredients your heart desires but these below are the ones I used. And I didn’t really measure them out.. Just play around with the measurements, you may want more puffed bits that nuts and vice versa.

When I make this I usually make a big batch with all my favourite ingredients and it will last us over a week. Its the perfect little snack on the run, great for sprinkling on top of your yogurt or smoothie or simply have a bowl full for breakfast with nut milk and fresh berries.

It’s super simple to make and easy to get creative with.

Ingredients:

  • Coconut Flakes
  • Buckwheat (raw)
  • Brown Rice Puffs
  • Spelt Puffs
  • Puffed Millet
  • White Mulberries
  • Cacao Nibs
  • Cranberries
  • Mixed Raw Nuts
  • Walnuts
  • Pumpkin Seeds
  • Sunflower Seeds
  • Chia Seeds
  • 1/4-1/2 cup (Depending on ingredients quantity) Coconut Oil
  • 1 -2 tabs Raw Honey or Maple Syrup
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
    dash Vanilla Essence
How to:
Preheat oven 150degrees
In a saucepan melt the coconut oil, honey or maple syrup, cinnamon and vanilla until smooth/running consistency. Stir as you go so it doesn’t burn or stick to the base of saucepan.
Add all other ingredients to sauce pan and mix around till totally covered. Transfer to a tray lined with baking paper, spreading out evenly.
Bake for about 30-40mins, allowing to cool before storing in an air tight glass jar.
**please note that it will come out soft and harden as it cools.
